Here's how to select or change ringtones / notification sounds on your moto g play (2021).

From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.

Navigate:

Settings

Sound

Tap

Advanced

then do any of the following:

To set a ringtone:

Tap

Phone ringtone

Select the ringtone then tap

To set a notification sound:

Tap

Default notification sound

Select the preferred notification sound then tap
