MOTOROLA ONE 5G UW ACE - Customize Your Home Screen
Personalizing the Home screen on your Motorola one 5G UW ace makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.
Add Apps
- From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
- Touch and hold an app.
- Drag the shortcut to the desired Home screen then release.For the app to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
Add Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
- TapWidgets.
- Tap the appropriate app.
- Touch and hold the desired widget to drag it to the preferred Home screen location then release.For the app to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
- If applicable, tap additional options to activate widget.Options vary depending upon the type of widget.
Add / Remove Folders
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g. Email).
- Drag the shortcut on to another shortcut (e.g. Gmail) then release.A folder containing the shortcuts is created (titled Unnamed Folder). To rename the folder:
- Tap a folder.
- Tap the title bar located at the bottom of the open folder (e.g., Edit Name).
- Enter a name then tap theDone icon

To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
Remove Apps / Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widgets, shortcuts, folders, etc.).
- Drag the item to 'Remove' (at the top) then release.
Set Wallpaper
- Touch and hold a blank space on a Home screen.
- TapWallpapers.
- Select a folder (e.g., My photos, Stylize, Dynamic, etc.)
- Locate then tap the preferred picture.If prompted, edit the picture then tap the checkmark.
- Tap theCheckmark icon.
- From the 'Set wallpaper' screen, choose one of the following:
- Home screen
- Lock screen
- Home screen and lock screen
