Here's how to restore your Galaxy Book Go 5G to default factory settings.
Before performing a factory data reset, ensure you back up all important data stored on the device and that it has a full battery life.
  1. Ensure the laptop is plugged in and charging.
    Reset can't be completed while running on battery power.
  2. Click the
    Start icon
     Windows Start icon.
  3. Click
    Settings
    .
  4. Navigate:
    System
    Recovery
    .
  5. From the 'Reset this PC' section, click
    Reset PC
    .
  6. From the 'Reset this PC' prompt, choose an option:
    • Keep my files
    • Remove everything
  7. From the 'How would you like to reinstall Windows' prompt, choose an option then follow the on-screen prompts:
    • Cloud download
    • Local reinstall
  8. If prompted, review current settings then click
    Next
    .
  9. From the 'Ready to reset this PC' screen, review the message then click
    Reset
    to confirm.
    If applicable, set up your device.
