TCL FLIP Pro - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout settings, etc.) on your FLIP Pro.
  1. From the main screen, press the
    OK button
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK button to select.

  2. Select
    Settings
    .
  3. Select
    Mobile hotspot
     to turn On or Off.
  4. Select
    Setup Mobile Hotspot
    .
    Mobile Hotspot must be on to access setup.
  5. From the Setup Mobile Hotspot screen, configure the following as needed:
    • Broadcast Network name (SSID)
    • Security (e.g., None, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
    • Password
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
      1. Select the Password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the password then press the
        left soft key
         Right soft key to save.
    • Show password
    • Select AP Band (e.g., 2.4 GHz Band, etc.)
  6. Press the
    right soft key
     to choose Save.
