Here's how to erase all data on the SD / memory card in your TAB Pro 5G.

This procedure erases all data on the SD / memory card. It's recommended to back up your data before formatting.

To perform the steps below, ensure an SD / memory card is inserted.

Ensure that your tablet isn't connected to a computer via the USB cable.

From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.

Navigate:

Settings

Storage

From the PORTABLE STORAGE section, tap the name of the SD / Memory Card.

The name varies depending upon the type of card used.

Tap the

Menu icon

(upper-right).

Tap

Storage settings

Tap

Format

Review the disclaimer then tap

FORMAT SD CARD

Allow several seconds for the process to complete.
