TCL TAB Pro 5G - Restart in Safe Mode

Safe mode is a diagnostic state on your TAB Pro 5G that only runs system apps so you can isolate if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
     until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release.
  3. Tap
    TURN ON SAFE MODE
     to confirm.
    The process may take up to 45 seconds to complete.
    Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the screen.
  4. With Safe Mode enabled, test device and app functionality.
  5. To turn Safe Mode off, restart the tablet.
