Unused apps take up storage space and slow down your moto g pure. Uninstalling apps you don't need can improve performance and reduce clutter.

Before you begin

Apps included with the Android™ operating system may not have an uninstall option. Some apps that can't be uninstalled can be disabled; however disabling them may cause related apps to malfunction.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Apps
    See all apps
    .
  3. Locate then select an app then do one of the following:
    • To uninstall the app:
      1. Tap
        Uninstall
        .
      2. Review the notification then tap
        OK
         to confirm.
    • To uninstall app updates:
      1. Tap the
        3-dot Menu
        .
      2. Tap
        Uninstall updates
        .
      3. Review the notification then tap
        OK
         to confirm.
