Arlo Go 2 LTE Security Camera - Edit Access Point Name (APN)

Here's how to configure the Access Point Names (APNs) your Arlo Go 2 security camera can use.
To define and configure the APNs your camera can use, view this info.
Changing advanced settings may be harmful to the stability, performance, and security of the camera. Contact your local IT administrator prior to altering any of these settings.
LTE Access Point Name (APN) Definitions:
  • vzwims
    : Used for connections to IMS services. Required for TXT messaging.
  • vzwadmin
    : Used for administrative functions.
  • vzwinternet
    : Required for general Internet connections.
  • vzwapp
    : Required for PDA data service
  • vzwcf
    : Used for connections that must be routed through content filtering.
  • xx.vzwentp
    : Used for connections to mobile private networks.
    'xx' would be replaced by the enterprise MPN identifier.
  • xx.vzwstatic
    : Used for static IP connections.
    'xx' would be replaced by the appropriate static IP pool identifier.
  1. Open the Arlo app or navigate and sign in to the Arlo web portal at https://arlo.netgear.com/ via a browser.
    The Arlo web portal doesn't support Internet Explorer.® For more info visit Arlo system requirements.
    If necessary, install the Arlo app.
  2. From the Devices tab, tap or click the
    Settings icon

  3. Tap or click
    Connected to

  4. Tap
    Cellular Network
    (in the app) or click
    Cellular Settings
    (on the web portal).
  5. Tap or click
    APN Settings
    .
  6. Tap or click
    Change APN Settings
    .
  7. Review the 'Are you sure you want to change your APN settings' message then tap or click 'Yes' or 'Continue'.
  8. Edit the APN as appropriate.
  9. Tap or click
    Continue
