MOTOROLA EDGE 5G UW - Restart in Safe Mode

Restarting your motorola edge 5G UW in Safe Mode puts it into a diagnostic state that only runs system apps so you can determine if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     (right edge) until the 'Power off' option appears on the screen then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
     until 'Reboot to safe mode' screen appears.
  3. From the 'Reboot to safe mode' prompt, tap
    OK
     to confirm.
    The process may take up to 60 seconds to complete.
    Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the screen.
  4. With Safe Mode enabled, ensure Airplane mode is turned off then test device and app functionality.
