Manage Data UsageSetting data limits or warnings on your Pixel 6 / 6 Pro helps you stay aware of your usage habits, which can be useful if your plan provides a fixed amount of data
Before you begin
Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website. For Business Customer data, visit My Business.
To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family™.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- TapNetwork & internet.
- Do any of the following:
- To turn Data Saver on / off:
- TapData Saver.
- TapUse Data Saver switchto turn on or off.
- To set a mobile data warning:
- TapSIMsthen tap the name of the applicable SIM (e.g., Verizon, etc.).
- TapData warning & limit.
- TapSet data warningto turn on.
- TapData warning.
- Enter the preferred warning limit then tapSet.
- To change the data usage cycle:
- TapSIMsthen tap the name of the applicable SIM (e.g., Verizon, etc.).
- TapData warning & limit.
- TapMobile data usage cycle, then select the Usage cycle reset date then tapSet.
- To set a mobile data limit:
- TapSIMsthen tap the name of the applicable SIM (e.g., Verizon, etc.).
- TapData warning & limit.
- TapSet data limitto turn on.
- TapData limit.
- Enter the preferred data usage limit then tapSet.
