Turn Screen Rotation On / Off

Screen rotation allows your Pixel 6 / 6 Pro to switch orientations automatically. By default, the screen rotates when you turn the device, but this setting can be turned off.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Display
    Auto-rotate screen
    .
  3. Tap
    Use Auto-rotate switch
     to turn on or off.
    Screen rotation displays content in landscape (horizontal) or portrait (vertical) and isn't available for all apps. When on, simply turn the device to change the view.
