If you use two phone numbers on your Samsung devices, renaming the SIM or eSIM helps ensure you select the correct line for calls, texts, and mobile data without confusion.

Before you begin

In order to see the eSIM options, the device must be running the current software version.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    SIM manager
    .
  3. Tap the SIM you wish to edit.
  4. Tap
    Name
    .
  5. Enter or edit the name (e.g., Personal, Work, etc.) then tap
    Done
    .
  6. If desired, tap
    Icon
     then select the preferred image.
