Navigating recently-used apps lets you quickly resume tasks or free up unused operating memory on your Windows® 11 device.

Steps

  1. Press the
    Windows key
     and the
    Tab key
     to open Task View.
  2. Do any of the following:
    • To open, from the open apps screen, select an app to start using that app.
    • To close, select the
      X icon
       in the top-right corner of the app.
