Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure Mobile Hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout settings, etc.) on your Galaxy S21 FE 5G.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap
    Configure
    .
  4. Configure any of the following:
    • Network name (SSID)
    • Password
      1. Tap the
        Password field
         to remove the existing password, then enter the preferred password.
      2. Tap
        Save
        .
        The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
    • Band
      Tap
      Band
       then select from the following options:
      • 2.4 GHz
      • 5 GHz preferred
    • Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
  5. To view additional settings, tap
    Advanced
    .
  6. Tap
    Set mobile data limit
    , enter the desired limit then tap
    OK
    .
    Tap
    Set no limit
     to remove any limits previously set.
  7. Tap
    Turn off when no device connected for
     then select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.).
  8. To hide your Mobile Hotspot's name, tap the
    Hidden network switch
     to turn on Switch on icon.
  9. Tap
    Save
    .
