Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G - Manage Contactless Payments

Here's how to use the 'Contactless payments' service with your Galaxy S21 FE 5G.
This service manages payment apps. The 'Contactless payments' option doesn't apply to Android Beam and won't include certain apps such as money transfer apps.
  • You can use the 'Contactless payments' service to pay for items just by touching your phone to a reader at a checkout register.
  • If your device doesn't have a payment app, you can browse the Google Play™ Store for payment apps.
  • For the 'Contactless payments' option to appear, NFC must be turned on.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    NFC and contactless payment
    .
  3. Ensure the 'NFC and contactless payments' switch is on.
  4. Tap
    Default wallet app
    .
  5. Tap the preferred default payment service.
    All activated wallets are added under 'Contactless payments'.
    If multiple wallets are activated, you can at any point change the default by going to the 'Payment' tab and updating your selection.
