TCL 30 V 5G - Customize Your Home Screen
Personalizing the Home screen on your TCL 30 V 5G makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.
Add Apps
- From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
- Touch and hold the desired app.
- Drag-and-drop the icon onto the preferred Home screen location.For the app to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
Add Widgets
- Touch and hold an empty area of a Home screen.
- TapWidgets.
- Touch and hold a widget.
- Drag-and-drop the widget onto the preferred Home screen location.For the widget to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
- If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.Options vary depending on the type of widget.
Add / Remove Folders
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Email).
- Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Gmail) then release.A folder containing the shortcuts is created (titled Unnamed Folder). The folder can be renamed. To rename the folder:
- Tap the folder.
- Tap the title bar at the bottom of the open folder.
- Enter a name then tap theCheckmark icon.
To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears or drag-and-drop the folder onto 'Remove' at the top of the screen.
Remove Apps / Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, etc.).
- Drag-and-drop the item onto 'Remove' at the top of the screen.
Set Wallpaper
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank space.
- From the onscreen prompt, tapWallpapers.
- Select a wallpaper category (e.g., Photos, Wallpapers, etc.).
- Locate then tap the preferred picture.
- TapSET WALLPAPERthen select an option:
- Home screen
- Lock screen
- Home screen and lock screen
