Orbic AirSurf 5G - Set Up Your Phone app

Here's how to sync your Android device and your AirSurf 5G laptop.
  • Link your mobile device to your Orbic® AirSurf 5G™ to get instant access to content.
  • The ability to link your device to your laptop is only available for Android™ devices running 7.0 or later.
  1. From the Home screen, click the
    Start icon
     Windows Start icon.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
    All apps
     >
    Phone Link
    .
  3. Tap or click
    Get started
    .
  4. If prompted, sign in to your Microsoft® account.
  5. From your Android phone, go to 'www.aka.ms/yourpc' to install the Link to Windows app.
    Once installed, open the app then return to your PC to continue pairing.
  6. From the 'Pair device' screen on your AirSurf 5G laptop, select (check)
    I have the Link to Windows app ready
     then perform one of the following:
    • To pair with a QR code
      1. On your Airsurf 5G laptop, tap or click
        Pair with QR code
        .
        A QR code appears on your PC screen. Continue pairing on your Android smartphone per the instructions below.
      2. From the Link to Windows app tap
        Link your phone and PC
        .
      3. Review the message then tap
        Continue
        .
      4. If prompted, allow the Link to Windows app camera access.
      5. If prompted, sign in to your Microsoft account.
      6. Scan the QR on the PC screen to pair devices.
    • To pair manually
      1. On your Airsurf 5G laptop, tap or click
        Pair manually
        .
      2. Tap or click
        Create PIN code
        .
        A QR code appears on your PC screen. Continue pairing on your Android smartphone per the instructions below.
      3. From the Link to Windows app, tap
        Link your phone and PC
        .
      4. Review the message then tap
        Continue
        .
      5. Tap
        I see a PIN code
        .
      6. Enter the 9 digit PIN shown on the PC the tap
        Done
        .
  7. To continue, review the required permissions from your smartphone then tap
    Allow
    .
  8. Tap or click
    Continue
     on your laptop or tap
    Done
     on your smartphone to complete setup.
