TCL 30 V 5G - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your TCL 30 V 5G.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security & biometrics
    Fingerprint
    .
  3. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  4. Perform on of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. Tap Add fingerprint to turn on.
      2. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint. Repeat as necessary until the process is complete.
      3. Tap
        Done
         (lower-right).
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Using on-screen prompts as a guide, lightly tap the
        Fingerprint sensor
         (back of device) multiple times to scan your fingerprint.
      3. Tap 'Done' if finished or 'Add fingerprint' to continue adding fingerprints.
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Tap
        Manage fingerprints
        .
      2. From the Fingerprints section, tap the
        Delete icon
         Delete icon to the far right of the fingerprint you wish to remove.
      3. Tap
        REMOVE
        .
