Samsung Galaxy S22 / Galaxy S22 Ultra - Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock
Here's how to set up, change or disable the screen lock option (e.g., password, pattern, etc.) for your Galaxy S22 / Galaxy S22+ / Galaxy S22 Ultra.
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate:.If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
- Do one of the following:
- Set up Pattern
- TapPattern.
- Draw an unlock pattern that connects at least 4 dots then tapContinue.
- Draw the same pattern again then tapConfirm.
- Set up PIN
- TapPIN.
- Enter a numeric PIN that's 4 to 16 digits then tapContinue.If preferred, tap (check)Confirm PIN without tapping OK.
- Re-enter the numeric PIN then tapOK.
- Set up Password
- TapPassword.
- Enter a password (4 to 16 characters, including at least one letter) then tapContinue.To view the password as it is being entered, tap theShow password icon
.
- Disable Screen Lock
- Tap 'None' or 'Swipe'.
- If prompted, review the info about biometric data (Face, Fingerprints) then tapRemove data.
