Before you begin

If you've set up a lock option to unlock your screen and can't remember it, refer to Samsung - Shutdown Prevention for what to do.

Steps

  1. Press the
    Power / Side button
    .
  2. Depending on the screen lock type, do one of the following:
    • Swipe up from the bottom of the display.
    • Draw the current unlock pattern.
    • Enter the current PIN or password.
    • Using the front-facing camera, position your face within the provided area.
    • Touch the fingerprint sensor located on the Power / Side button.
  3. If necessary, tap
    OK
     or
    Done
    .
