Samsung Galaxy A13 - Add / Remove Face Recognition

Here's how to set up and remove facial recognition on your Galaxy A13.
  1. Ensure a secure screen lock type has been set up.
  2. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  3. Navigate:
    Security and privacy
    Biometrics
    Face Recognition
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. If presented with the 'More about face recognition' screen, review the info then tap
    Continue
    .
  6. Do any of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. While holding the phone 8-20 inches away, position your face within the square displayed onscreen.
      2. Tap the
        Stay on Lock screen until swipe
         to turn on or off then tap
        Done
        .
      3. From the 'Face recognition' menu, tap the switch(es) to turn each option on or off (e.g., Face unlock, Require open eyes, etc.). then tap
        OK
        .
    • To remove face data:
      1. From the 'Face recognition' menu, tap
        Remove face data
        .
      2. To confirm, review the disclaimer, then tap
        Remove
        .
