Verizon Internet Gateway - Ping an IP Address

Here's how to ping a local or remote host with the Internet Gateway.
Ping is a network utility used to verify successful two-way communication between hosts on a network. If a remote IP address or domain name is not reachable, it could indicate a network connectivity problem.
  1. Access the router admin page then click
    Advanced
     (top).
    Refer to Access Admin Page for assistance.

    Diagnostics & Monitoring
     then click
    Diagnostics
    .

  3. From the 'Diagnostics' section, enter an IP Address or Domain Name in the Destination field then click
    Go
     to display the result.
