Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network

If your Wi-Fi network isn't showing up in Windows® 11, you can add it manually. Follow these simple steps to connect your device and stay online.

Step

  1. Open the
    Start menu
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
    Network & internet
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Select
    Manage known networks
     the choose
    Add network
    .
  4. Enter or configure the following info then select
    Save
    :
    • Network name
    • Security type
    • Security key
  5. If preferred, select the following:
    • Connect automatically
    • Connect even if this network is not broadcasting.
