Turning data on your Pixel 6a provides access to online services over the cellular network, while turning it off will impact that experience unless connected to Wi-Fi.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    SIMs
    .
  3. Tap the name of the appropriate SIM (e.g., Verizon, etc.).
  4. Do any of the following:
    • To turn data on / off:
      1. Tap the
        Mobile data switch
         to turn on or off.
      2. If prompted, tap
        OK
         to confirm.
    • To allow / deny data roaming:
      1. Tap the
        Roaming switch
         to turn on of off.
      2. If prompted with 'Allow data roaming?', tap
        OK
         to confirm if you agree.
