Manage RTT Settings

Use RTT to text in real time on calls from your Pixel 6a. This can help with hearing or speech issues or if you prefer typing.

Change RTT Visibility

  1. Open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. Tap the
    3-line Menu
     then tap
    Settings
    .
  3. Tap
    Accessibility
    .
  4. Tap
    Real-time text (RTT)
     then select from one of the following options:
    • Not visible
    • Visible during call
    • Always visible

Make a Call with RTT

  1. Open the
    Phone icon
     and make a call.
  2. Once the call connects, tap the
    RTT icon
    .
    If unavailable, swipe screen to the left then tap the
    RTT icon
    .

End an RTT Call

  1. While on a call, tap the
    End icon
    .
