Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Galaxy Z Fold4.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  3. Navigate:
    Lock screen and AOD
    Screen lock and biometrics
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. Tap
    Fingerprints
     then perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. From the Fingerprints screen, review the info then tap
        Continue
        .
      2. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint then repeat as necessary until the process completes.
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
      4. Tap the
        Fingerprint unlock switch
         to turn on or off.
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add Fingerprint
        .
        Up to 3 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint then repeat as necessary until the process completes.
      3. Tap 'Done' if finished or 'Add' to continue adding fingerprints.
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Touch and hold a fingerprint until a blue checkmark appears.
      2. Select any additional fingerprints to delete.
        To delete all fingerprints, tap
        All
        .
      3. Tap
        Remove
        .
      4. To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap
        Remove
        .
