Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 - Restart in Safe Mode

Safe mode is a diagnostic state on your Galaxy Z Fold4 that only runs system apps so you can isolate if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. Simultaneously press and hold the
    Side button
     and
    Volume down button
     until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive.
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
     until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release.
  3. To confirm, tap
    Safe mode
     Safe Mode.
    This process may take up to 30 seconds to complete.
    Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock / Home screen.
