ORBIC JOY - Customize Your Home Screen
Personalizing the Home screen on your ORBIC® JOY makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.
Add Apps
- From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
- Touch and hold an app.
- Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto the preferred Home screen.For the app to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
Add Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
- TapWidgets.
- Select a category then touch and hold a widget.
- Drag the widget onto the preferred Home screen then release.For the widget to be successfully added, there must be enough space on the screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
- If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.Options vary depending on the type of widget.
Add / Remove Folders
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an app (e.g., Clock, My Verizon, etc.).
- Drag the app onto another app (e.g., Gmail, Cloud, etc.) then release it.A folder containing the shortcuts is created. To rename the folder:
- Tap the folder.
- TapEdit Name(bottom of the open folder).
- Enter a name then tap theCheckmark iconin the lower right.
To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
Remove Apps / Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, app, etc.).
- Drag the item to 'Remove' at the top of the screen then release.
Set Wallpaper
- Touch and hold a blank space on a Home screen.
- TapWallpapers.If prompted with permissions, tapALLOW ACCESS.
- TapCHANGE WALLPAPER.
- Select the desired wallpaper category from the available folders (e.g., My photos, Landscapes, etc.).
- Select an image, then from the 'Preview' screen tap theCheckmark icon.
- Select from the following options to set the wallpaper:
- Home screen
- Lock screen
- Home and lock screen
