ORBIC JOY - Power Up in Safe Mode

Here's how to boot your ORBIC JOY into Safe Mode to help determine if an app is causing it to freeze, reset or run slowly.
Safe Mode puts your ORBIC® JOY in a diagnostic state (returned to default settings) so you can determine if a third-party app is causing your device to freeze, reset or run slowly.
An alternate method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Press the
    Power button
     to turn the device on and allow several seconds for the Orbic logo to appear.

  3. Approximately 2-3 seconds after the Orbic logo is on screen, press and hold the
    Volume down button
    .
    If pressed too soon, the device doesn't boot into safe mode.
  4. Continue to hold the
    Volume down button
     until 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock screen then release.
    This may take up to 30 seconds.
