ORBIC JOY - Restart in Safe Mode

Restarting your ORBIC JOY in Safe Mode puts it into a diagnostic state that only runs system apps so you can determine if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. With your device powered on, press and hold the
    Power button
     on the right edge of the device until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  2. Touch and hold
    Restart
     until the 'Reboot to safe mode' prompt appears then release.
  3. Tap
    OK
     to confirm.
  4. Wait for the device to restart.
    The restart process may take up to 45 seconds to complete.
    Upon restart, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock / Home screen.
  5. To exit Safe mode, restart your device.
