One Talk W78B IP DECT Cordless Phone - Factory Reset

Here's how to restore your One Talk W78B IP DECT Cordless Phone or its corresponding W78HV handset to factory default settings if your system admin advises you to do so.
After the reset is completed, all settings revert to the factory defaults except handset registrations. Before performing the reset, check with your system admin to verify whether a backup of the settings exists.

  1. From the Home screen on the handset, navigate:
    OK
    Settings
    System Settings
    Base Reset
    .
  2. Enter the system PIN (default: 0000) then press
    Done
    .
  3. Tap
    Reset to factory
     then press
    OK
     to confirm.
  • The reset may take a few minutes. Don't power the base station off until the it restarts successfully.
  • The Power and Network LEDs flash in sequence during the reset. Once the device has restarted, the LEDs glow green.
