SHARP ROUVO V - Manage RTT Settings

Here's how to use the real-time text (RTT) functionality on your ROUVO V.
Real-time text (RTT) is text transmitted instantly as it is typed or created. Recipients can immediately read the message while it is being written without waiting or the need for an additional device.

  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Phone
     Phone icon (lower-left).
    If unavailable, swipe up on a Home screen to access all apps, then tap
    Phone
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Menu icon Menu icon
    Settings
    Accessibility
    .
  3. Tap
    Real Time Text (RTT) Call
     to turn On Switch on or Off Switch off.
    When RTT is enabled on both devices no audio is heard on the call. If you aren't hearing audio make sure RTT is turned off.
  1. With RTT enabled, from a Home screen, tap
    Phone
     Phone icon then dial or select a contact.
    If unavailable, swipe up on a Home screen to display all apps, then tap
    Phone
    .
    Once the call connects, the RTT call screen displays.

  1. If RTT is turned off, while on a call, navigate:

    Show RTT Keyboard

  1. While on a call, tap the
    End Call icon
     (at the bottom) to end the call.
