MOTOROLA EDGE - 2022 - Manage Data Usage

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and/or limits on your motorola edge - 2022.

Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website.

To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family™.

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Network & Internet

Mobile network

Tap

Data warning & limit

then do any of the following:

Change Data Usage Cycle:

Tap

Mobile data usage cycle

Select the Usage cycle reset date then tap

Set

Set Mobile Data Warning:

A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level.

Tap the

Alert me switch

to turn on.

Tap

Data warning

then enter the preferred warning limit (e.g., 2.0 GB, etc.) then tap

Set

Set Mobile Data Limit:

Mobile data is turned off when the data usage reaches the limit indicated by the red line. To use apps needing data, use Wi-Fi or adjust the limit.

Tap the

Limit switch

to turn on.

Tap

Data limit

then enter the preferred data usage limit (e.g., 5.0 GB, etc.) then tap

Set

To view or limit individual app usage, refer to View / Restrict Data Usage by App.
