TCL LINKZONE 5G UW - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your LINKZONE 5G UW or turn it on or off.
Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so it can't be used until the correct code is entered. If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the 4G SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).

Enable / Disable SIM PIN

  2. From the Network Settings section, click the
    Navigation arrow
     Navigation arrow (lower-right).
  3. From the Mobile Network section (left-panel), click
    SIM/PIN Management
    .
  4. Tap the
    SIM/PIN Status switch
     to turn on switch on icon or off switch off icon.
  5. In the 'SIM/PIN' field, enter the preferred SIM PIN.
  6. If preferred, select (check)
    Remember SIM/PIN
    .
  7. Click
    Apply
    .

Modify SIM PIN

The SIM card must be locked (SIM PIN enabled) in order to change the current SIM PIN.
  2. From the Network Settings section, click the
    Navigation arrow
     Navigation arrow (lower-right).
  3. From the Mobile Network section (left-panel), click
    SIM/PIN Management
    .
  4. Click
    Change PIN
    .
  5. Enter the appropriate PIN into the following fields:
    • Old SIM/PIN
    • New SIM/PIN
    • Confirm SIM/PIN
  6. Click
    Apply
