TCL LINKZONE 5G UW - Turn SSID Broadcast On / Off

Here's how to display or not display the Wi-Fi name of your LINKZONE 5G UW to other devices.
  • Your LINKZONE 5G UW has a network name or SSID (Service Set Identifier) assigned to it.
  • The SSID is typically broadcast by default, but can be turned off for greater security.
  • When turned off, any device attempting to connect for the first time must know the network (SSID) name and password to set up a manual connection to it.
    For the easiest connection experience, it's recommended to leave broadcast on.
  2. From the Wi-Fi section, click the
    navigation arrow
     Navigation arrow (lower-right).
  3. From the Basic page, tap the
    SSID Broadcast
    to turn on switch on icon or off switch on icon.
    If turning off, click
    OK
     to confirm.
  4. Click
    Apply
    .
