Samsung Galaxy S23 / Galaxy S23 Ultra - Add a Virtual Private Network

Here's how to add a virtual private network (VPN) to your Galaxy S23 / Galaxy S23+ / Galaxy S23 Ultra to encrypt your internet traffic and protect your online identity via a secure remote server.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    More connection settings
    VPN
    .
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon.
  4. Tap
    Add VPN profile
    .
  5. If presented with a lock screen notification, tap
    OK
    .
    Refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock for assistance.
  6. From the Name field, enter the appropriate name.
    If needed, contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and credentials.
  7. From the Type field, tap the
    dropdown menu
     dropdown menu icon then select the VPN type.
  8. Enter the needed info into the applicable fields then tap
    Save
    .
    If applicable, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure the following:
    The available options vary depending on the selected VPN type.
    • DNS search domains
    • DNS servers
    • Forwarding routes
    • Username
    • Password
