Add eSIM ProfileWith an eSIM, your phone number and plan are installed digitally onto your Razer Edge 5G smartphone instead of using a physical SIM card. Downloading an eSIM profile is the first step in getting connected to the Verizon network.
Before you begin
Ensure your Razer Edge 5G is connected to Wi-Fi.
This tablet comes with a preconfigured eSIM (embedded SIM) profile and doesn't use a physical SIM card. You'll need to obtain a new eSIM profile from Verizon if the preconfigured profile is deleted or disabled, or the phone is reset and eSIM profile data is lost.
Only one eSIM profile can be active at a time.
These steps may be necessary if you've moved your device to a different line or performed a factory data reset and eSIM data was lost.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .If no eSIM profile is present, an Add carrier prompt appears.
- From the Download your SIM screen, tapNext.
- If prompted, grant requested permissions (e.g, SIM Manager).
- From the Use VZW? prompt, tapDownload.
- From the Download Finished screen, tapClose.Once the info is programmed into the device, you can begin using your service.You may need to restart your phone after downloading eSIM info.
