If you're trading in your BMW, transferring ownership or updating your phone plan, removing or deactivating your eSIM profile keeps your account secure and avoid unexpected charges.

Block / Remove Personal eSIM

  1. Open the
    MyBMW app
    .
  2. Tap the
    Profile icon
    .
  3. Tap
    Personal eSIM
    .
  4. Tap
    Options
    .
  5. Tap the preferred option:
    • Block in vehicle
      : Blocks use of the eSIM until unblocked from the BMW app.
    • Remove from vehicle
      : Removes the profile from the vehicle, but is still associated with your BMW ID.
