TCL 40 XE 5G - Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Here's how to connect to a Wi-Fi network or remove a saved connection on your TCL 40 XE 5G.

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Network & Internet

Wi-Fi

Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on.

Perform one of the following:

Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network

Tap the preferred Wi-Fi network.

Enter the appropriate password then tap

Connect

To view the password as it's being entered, tap the

Show password icon

Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network

Tap

Add network

(scroll down if needed).

From the Network name field, enter the appropriate name.

From the Security field, tap the

Dropdown menu

Tap the appropriate security option (i.e., None, Enhanced, WEP, etc.)

From the Password field, enter the appropriate password.

Tap

and ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately.

Tap

Save

Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Tap the

Menu icon

then tap

Manage networks

Tap the Wi-Fi network you wish to remove.

Tap
