View, Open or Close Recently Used Apps

Navigating recently-used apps lets you quickly resume tasks or free up unused operating memory on your Pixel 7a.

Steps

From a Home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause near the middle of the screen until all open app cards appear.

Do any of the following:

To open apps, scroll to then tap the desired app(s) in the list.

To close apps, scroll through the apps then swipe up.

To close all apps, scroll all the way to the left then tap
