Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN
Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Galaxy Z Flip5 or turn it on or off.
- Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
- If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate:.
- TapSIM card security.If unavailable, ensure a SIM card is inserted.
- If multiple SIMs are present, select the appropriate SIM from the tabs at the bottom of the screen (e.g., SIM 1, eSIM 1, etc.).
- TapLock SIM cardto turn on or off.To change your SIM PIN, ensure the Lock SIM card switch is turned on then do the following:
- TapChange SIM card PIN.
- Enter the current SIM PIN (current SIM PIN) then tapOK.The default SIM PIN is 1111.
- Enter the new SIM PIN then tapOK.
- Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tapOK.
- Enter the current SIM PIN then tapOK.
