Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 - Factory Data Reset (Powered On)

Here's how to factory / hard reset your Galaxy Z Flip5 if the screen freezes or call, app, audio or sync issues occur.
Perform a factory data reset only if necessary as it removes your Google account and all data including system data, app data and media.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
An alternate reset method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  2. Navigate:
    General management
    Reset
    Factory data reset
    .
  3. Review the info then tap
    Reset
    .
If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  4. Tap
    Delete all
    .
If prompted, review the info then select 'Keep eSIMs and reset' or 'Remove eSIMs and reset'.
Allow several minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.
If needed, set up your device. If troubleshooting third-party apps, don't restore app data.
