Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 - Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock

Here's how to set up, change or disable the screen lock option (e.g., password, pattern, etc.) for your Galaxy Z Fold5.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Lock screen
    Screen lock type
    .
    If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Set up Pattern
      1. Tap
        Pattern
        .
      2. Draw an unlock pattern that connects at least 4 dots then tap
        Continue
        .
      3. Draw the same pattern again then tap
        Confirm
        .
      4. If prompted, configure notification options as preferred then tap
        Done
        .
    • Set up PIN
      1. Tap
        PIN
        .
      2. Enter a numeric PIN between 4 to 16 digits then tap
        Continue
        .
        If preferred, check
        Confirm PIN without tapping OK
        .
      3. Re-enter the numeric PIN then tap
        OK
        .
      4. If prompted, configure notification options as preferred then tap
        Done
        .
    • Set up Password
      1. Tap
        Password
        .
      2. Enter a password between 4 to 16 characters then tap
        Continue
        .
        To view the password as it's being entered, tap the
        Show password icon
         Show password icon.
      3. Re-enter the password then tap
        OK
        .
      4. If prompted, configure notification options as preferred then tap
        Done
        .
    • Disable Screen Lock
      1. Tap 'None' or 'Swipe'.
