TCL TAB Disney Edition 2 - Add a Virtual Private Network

Here's how to add a virtual private network (VPN) to your TCL TAB Disney Edition 2 to encrypt your internet traffic and protect your identity online via a secure remote server.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    VPN
    .
  3. Tap the
    Add icon
     add icon.
  4. If presented with a secure screen lock notification, tap
    OK
    .
    Refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock for assistance.
  5. In the Name field, enter the appropriate name.
    If needed, contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and credentials.
  6. In the Type field, tap the
    dropdown menu icon
     dropdown menu icon then select the appropriate VPN type.
  7. Enter the needed info into the applicable fields then tap
    SAVE
     .
    If applicable, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure the following (available options vary depending on the selected VPN type):
    • DNS search domains
    • DNS servers
    • Proxy
    • Username
    • Password
