TCL TAB Disney Edition 2 - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout settings, etc.) on your TCL TAB Disney Edition 2.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Tethering & Mobile Hotspot
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap
    Set up Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. From the Configure Mobile Hotspot screen, configure the following as preferred:
    • Network name (SSID)
    • Security (e.g., None, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
    • Password
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
      1. Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the password then tap
        SAVE
        .
    • Maximum connections
      Use the dropdown menu to select 1-10 users.
    • Select AP Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)
  5. Tap
    SAVE
    .
  6. Tap
    Timeout settings
     then select an option (Never, 5 minutes, etc.)..
