Manage Hotspot SettingsTurn on the hotspot feature for your Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Tap any option to edit the following as preferred:
- Network name
- Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
- Password
- Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
- Enter the password then tapSave.
- Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred)
- TapAdvanced.
- To hide your Mobile Hotspot's name, tap theHidden network switchto turn on or off.
- TapBroadcast channelthen select one of the following options (Auto, 1-11).
- TapTurn off when no device connected forthen select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, etc.).
- TapSave.
