Turn Live Voicemail On / OffAdjust the Live Voicemail feature on your Apple® iPhone® if you want to see a live transcription of incoming voicemails as they're being recorded.
Before you begin
Live Voicemail is only available on iOS 17 or later and allows you to view a real-time transcription of the message someone is leaving you as they speak.
Live Voicemail is turned on by default on your iPhone. Turn it off if you need to use any of the following services:
- Conditional Call Forwarding (*71)
- Dialing *86 (*VM)
- Voicemail to text for iPhone (premium subscription)
- One Talk (Hunt Group)
- Blocked Voicemail Feature
