Google Pixel 8 / 8 Pro - Add / Edit / Delete a Contact

Here's how to add, edit or remove a contact entry on your Pixel 8 / 8 Pro.

  1. Open the
    Contacts app
    .
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To add a contact, tap the
      Add icon
       Add contact.
    • To edit an existing contact, select the desired contact then tap the
      Edit icon
       Edit icon.
  3. Enter or edit any of the info fields (e.g., Name, Phone, Email, etc.) then tap
    Save
    .
    To add a pause (a 2-second delay between numbers) or wait, tap
    *#
    , tap 'Pause (,)' or 'Wait (;)' then tap the
    Enter icon
     Enter icon.
    Tap
    More fields
     for additional options.
  1. Open the
    Contacts app
    .
  2. Select the desired contact.
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon then tap
    Delete
    .
  4. Tap
    Move to Trash
     to confirm.
