Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Connect your Galaxy S23 FE to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on.
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • To connect to an available Wi-Fi network
      1. Tap the preferred Wi-Fi network.
      2. Enter the appropriate password then tap
        Connect
        .
    • To manually connect to a Wi-Fi network
      1. Tap
        Add network
        .
      2. From the Network name field, enter the appropriate name.
      3. Tap
        Security
        .
      4. Tap the appropriate security option (i.e., None, Enhanced, WEP, etc.).
      5. From the Password field, enter the appropriate password.
      6. Ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately then tap
        Save
        .
    • To remove a Wi-Fi connection
      1. Tap the
        Gear icon
         next to the Wi-Fi network you wish to remove.
      2. Tap
        Forget
        .
