Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Connect your Galaxy S24 / S24+ / S24 Ultra to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • To connect to an available Wi-Fi network:
      1. Tap the preferred Wi-Fi network.
      2. Enter the applicable password then tap
        Connect
        .
    • To manually connect to a Wi-Fi network:
      1. Tap
        Add network
        .
      2. From the Network name field, enter the applicable name.
      3. Tap the
        Security field
         then tap the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, etc.).
      4. From the Password field, enter the applicable password.
      5. Tap
        View more
         and ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately.
      6. Tap
        Save
        .
    • To remove a Wi-Fi connection:
      1. Tap the
        Gear icon
         next to the Wi-Fi network you wish to remove.
      2. Tap
        Forget
        .
